[WATCH] Vaeda Black – “Suicide Love”

She teased it for months and now dark-pop darling, Vaeda Black, has unveiled her gorgeous video for piano ballad, “Suicide Love,” this past weekend.

With intimate choreography vibes straight out of 2000’s Center Stage, the video encapsulates the feeling of being consumed by someone while losing yourself in the process all while making the essence of the song appreciatively more darker, raw, and beautiful. With a concept all her own, Black enlisted the help of Tony-nominated and Emmy-award winning choreographer AC Ciulla to bring out the intimacy of the track into art of dance. With help from a group young dancers from NYC’s dance community, the video for “Suicide Love” is a viral phenomenon waiting to happen.

“‘Suicide Love’ is about being so overcome with desire for someone that you can do nothing but give yourself into them. Being vulnerable is hard for a lot of people, but I want this song to represent the good things that come from showing yourself to another person and letting them love you,” shared Black.
