Transviolet are gearing up for the release of their third EP, Valley, on September 21, and with an EP release comes some visual excitement to get fans pumped for the big day! The aesthetics of this era are beyond anything we’ve ever seen, so get excited, folks!
As if we weren’t already obsessed with the “Undo” track release, its video takes the entire song to a whole other level. A manifesto to destruction and transformation, the video for “Undo” was inspired by a quote by Cynthia Occelli, displaying a poignant interpretation of what it truly means to transform your life into something that serves you. “For a seed to achieve its greatest expression, it must come completely undone. The shell cracks, its insides come out and everything changes. To someone who doesn’t understand growth, it would look like complete destruction.”
Frontwoman Sarah McTaggart explains, “the idea behind the video was destruction and transformation: how sometimes in order to create something new, everything needs to come apart, and how beauty can be found in that vulnerable chaos.”
