We feel a kind of kindred energy between ourselves and Transviolet. Like many other indie bands out there, they’ve experienced a ton of highs and lows in the music industry, and we are no stranger to that. However, in order to make it through those hardships, you have to allow yourself to feel it out and move on…and of course, write about it.
It’s been a year since the band released their Valley EP, so the release of new track, “Sunshine,” is exactly what fans have been craving. A classic indie-pop Transviolet gem about letting your guard down and embracing life in the midst of chaos, “Sunshine” gives listeners all those feel good vibes and then some. In other words: if you’re not shoving yourself into an ice freezer or dancing on the beach with your besties, what are you doing with your life?
“‘Sunshine’ is about finding bliss in a chaotic and meaningless universe. Questioning the nature of our existence and reality, and resolving to revel in whatever form it takes. I hope it inspires wonder at the rare phenomenon of being alive.”
