Following the success of last month’s “WTF,” indie-pop singer, Sasha Alex Sloan, has now gifted us with another cynical gem called “I Blame The World.”
The title track off her upcoming sophomore record, due out May 13, “I Blame The World” is an anthem for all the Daria-types out there. If you’re a “glass half-empty kind of girl” like myself, we finally have a song we can dance around our rooms to with a hairbrush!
The track’s accompanying video features Sasha and friends pretend performing with a hairbrush, and air instruments…as if we all haven’t already done that before. An accurate depiction of reality at the moment for a lot of us, “I Blame The World” is exactly what we need right now in the form of brutal honesty.
