[WATCH] Nightbus – “Average Boy”

Manchester, UK-based trio, Nightbus, have unveiled a lovely new track for your listening pleasure that we’re sure will occupy high placement on your playlists this spring!

“Average Boy” delves into that all-too-familiar feeling of inadequacy but with a nuance that tells a million stories.

The track follows 2023’s “Exposed To Some Light” and will be available on 7″ vinyl courtesy of So Young Records. Pre-order here!

“‘Average Boy’ is a narrative I’m sure many of us can relate to. The feeling of inadequacy, dysphoria, a longing for something that might never materialise,” shared the band. “Those small moments that feel like destiny reduced to bittersweet memories. We all search for something, we get caught in cycles, we lose our way, half the time we don’t even know what we’re looking for. Gender, perspective, culture , we are all in some way the average boy.”

“‘Average Boy’ resembles a lonely club night, there’s a strong sense of identity attached to the track. We have well and truly jumped two feet into the electronic realm with this one. With the help of producers Alex Greaves and Syd Minsky-Sargeant we are embodying what Nightbus was always meant to be.”
