It’s been a long time coming since we last heard new music from extraordinaire Irish quartet Kodaline but the wait is finally over, fam.
Last summer, we heard them on Kygo’s banging track “Raging” and since then all we knew about them was that they were working on their third album but it wasn’t until today that we got to hear what they’ve been working on.
“Brother” is pretty different from what we’ve heard from them in the past, but it’s a great kind of different. It’s still as emotional as the band’s signature sound but with some improvements. The synths used on the main chorus line gives this song a significant lift-up while lead singer, Steve Garrigan, keeps showing his powerful vocal range.
This new tune comes with a brand new video for it and, spoiler alert, you might as well want to grab some tissues before you watch it. Don’t say we didn’t warned you.
