It’s been about three months since The Maine‘s frontman John O’Callaghan released his solo project Sincerely, John The Ghost, a lovely collection of prose and poetry written in a mesmerizing way only John could achieve along with a six piece EP from where the single “Sour Grapes” comes from.
Directed by Cole Kiburz, the music video lies in solidarity with the essence from the lyrics and the aesthetic portrayed by the whole of John’s project. Right into that grayscale scenery, John appears doing the typical things one human does when he wakes up while his eyes portray the wandering of his own mind’s doing, a sentiment expressed in the lyrics.
“So save your breath and pretty dress, I don’t miss you at all Miss Loneliness.”
