Who doesn’t love to wind down and relax after a long work day? We sure do. Finding the perfect soundtrack to it not always comes from the alternative rock and pop scene, rather from soul and R&B.
If you’re a fan of Michael Kiwanuka or Frank Ocean, you sure will love emerging London talent Joel Culpepper. His Tortoise EP was released earlier this year and “Don’t Mean I’m In Love” is the first single off of it. Its laid-back rhythm and the sophisticated instrumental arrangements make the track a nice musical company to lounging at home, whatever activity you decide to pursue – just like the rest of the EP – “Woman” is quite the standout if you ask me. You better jump on this bandwagon before it’s too packed!
