Arkansas indie-pop duo, joan, have kept listeners on their toes for the past 6 months as they released a song a month in honor of ‘the wave era’ – tracks set to be featured on two EPs entitled hi – the magical start of a relationship (out today) and bye – the sadness and anger of the bitter end (out next month) via Photo Finish Records.
The final installment of the hi EP comes in the form of “right back,” and we really do think they left the best for last!
Addicting as it is seductive in its lyrical content, “right back” offers that signature joan meets 90’s boyband vibe with a killer tempo change at the end that will undoubtedly have you coming ‘right back’ to hit repeat!
