After over a year of anticipation, and teasing, Halsey has finally unleashed the final installment of the Hopeless Fountain Kingdom saga, “Strangers,” featuring Lauren Jauregui.
“Strangers” concludes the story the singer revealed through a series of music videos based around the story of Hopeless Fountain Kingdom – the Romeo + Juliet-inspired sophomore record released in June 2017. Centered around the relationship of star-crossed lovers Luna (Halsey) and Rosa (Jauregui), the story has been fleshed out in the videos for “Now or Never,” “Bad At Love,” “Sorry,” and “Alone.”
In this final installment, Luna and Rosa duke it out in a boxing match, filled with layers of subtext to figure out in a bloody war of fervor.
