Halsey has returned and she is on fire!
The singer’s third album is upon us and first single, “Nightmare,” is anything but; more like an anthem for those who are pissed off at how things are, how people treat one another, and how it’s somehow okay to tell others who they should be. Fighting back and taking names, the singer blatantly calls out her haters, proclaiming, “I don’t owe you a goddamn thing.” If that’s not relatable, nothing is.
Evoking some serious MTV music video vibes from back in the day, Halsey takes her video for “Nightmare” to the next level, displaying the toxicity within the music industry and beyond that’s led to her anger and frustration. “I’m tired and angry but somebody should be.”
Taking on a more darker vibe, it looks like the singer’s third album just might be her best yet.
