Whitby, Ontario’s Chastity shared their debut video for “Manning Hill” this week – a short yet concise view of suburban teen angst. Lead singer Brandon Williams shared his thoughts on the video, stating:
“Whitby is bleak, suburban sprawl and home to the beast of Manning Hill. Justin Singer is an old friend of mine from bible camp. I ran into him last summer, showed him this demo I’d written, asked him if he liked The Smashing Pumpkins. Bible camp didn’t get to him, so we got pennies on train tracks, shaved someones head, tattooed SORRY on our drummer Sam, and got it it on tape”
