[WATCH] BIIANCO – “Get Up”

Sometimes, the only way to find yourself is to look around and realize you are the key to everything you’ve ever wanted. For LA-based musician/producer Gabby Bianco, that is exactly what happened. After relying on other producers to bring her visions to fruition, Bianco found herself at a women-only music production retreat in the Joshua Tree desert, thus following the epiphany of being her only missing link.

In the months that followed, Bianco wrote, performed, engineered, and produced her forthcoming EP. A departure from her work in Smoke Season, BIIANCO is an empowering project for anyone who may be afraid of branching out on their own and discovering their true abilities. First single, “Get Up,” is an anthem for your haters and a reminder of the inner strength we all possess, even in the most difficult of times.

“I wanted to show that ferocity can sometimes come in the form of a whisper,” Bianco explained. “The most voracious declarations are focused and calm.”

With comparisons to Moby, Portishead, and Bob Moses, BIIANCO just might be the answer to an industry of issues.
