I’m really digging what rising EDM artist, Gryffin, is doing. From my first taste of his work with Years & Years‘ “Desire” to CHVRCHES’ “Clearest Blue,” the project of New York City musician Dan Griffith is turning out to be exactly what electronic dance music needs. As most remixes these days, in my opinion, are met with the notion of trying too hard while waiting forever for the damn beat to drop (lolz hate when that happens) Gryffin adds a gorgeous element of trance to an alternative/indie hit, making it all his own while capturing the attention of the once jaded.
Another masterpiece has been born with Gryffin’s remix of Troye Sivan‘s “Youth.” It’s Friday. Chill out and let the music take you somewhere.
