It’s a sad Monday yet again here in this dark world. I won’t go into the details as I’m sure most of you have heard about the tragic events that unfolded last night in Las Vegas. Instead, I just wanted to share a song that brought me to tears this morning as I searched for an answer to all of the violence and utter madness.
Echosmith’s “Dear World” is a reminder that we are all battling something, no matter how big or small, and it brings the notion of us all feeling alone despite the barriers we create around one another to the forefront. As we reflect on what has happened, find solace in the music. It is literally the only thing we have left.
