Palisades Drive – the indie-pop project from musician Jesse Young – first made its debut right here on TDL this past spring with “Part Time Rockstar.” Today we are excited to bring you the second installment from this emerging powerhouse entitled “Got Me That Way” – an upbeat indie gem that will probably be stuck in your head after the first listen.
Young stated that the track is circled around “a hypothetical situation about wanting to be with someone that you can’t. So the main character in this song is always thinking about the ‘someday’ – the dream of them being together, that he hopes will become a reality.”
