If you’re anything like us, you’ve been anticipating a new release from alternative/dream-pop band, MONACO, ever since you became obsessed with their debut single, “Such A Vibe.”
The time has come for a new track and we are incredibly honored to premiere the band’s new single, “Blush,” right here on TDL! “Blush” is a rather charming take on that moment when you realize you’ve found ‘the one’ – when all you’ve experienced in the past doesn’t even matter anymore as you discover the treasure in the other person’s heart to be all you’ll ever need.
“‘Blush’ is an energetic, dance worthy song that provides a charming take on meeting the person you could spend the rest of your life with. It takes you on a journey of discovering how someone can not only remind you of where you came from, but where you want to be,” shared singer Daniel Davis.
“I wanted to write a song about the experience of when I met my wife, but not your typical sugary sweet pop track, because she isn’t typical to me. I wanted the song to start steady, pull your heart in every possible direction, and make you feel like you were living in a daydream. I also wanted the listener to feel equally valued and unique when they listen to it in the same way that she feels valued by me.”
But that’s not all. They come bearing gifts just in time for the holiday season! “Blush” will be available for free download exclusively on Soundcloud this Friday through Christmas only. The song will also be available for purchase and streaming on all platforms worldwide.
