Following the releases of “Loved By You” and “NYC,” the band is now ready to deliver new single, “Inside Your Eyes,” which we are head over heels about premiering today with its accompanying video!
Fans of joan, Nightly, and LANY will be swooning over “Inside Your Eyes” in no time as tales of seduction, temptation, and the confusion both of those emotions can bring collide with blissful synths and swirling guitars, all in the span of three minutes. Needless to say, someone will definitely be on your mind as you hit repeat on this one…especially at night.
“‘Inside Your Eyes’ is the first single off our upcoming debut album which will be formally announced later this spring. It’s a love song on the nose, but really it explores what it’s like to fall in love really early in a relationship and to wonder if its too early, or if the other person feels the same way despite all the physical signs that they do.”
“This was the first song that we actually wrote together in the inception days of Honestly. I (Dalton) had just gone through a tough breakup and Eric and I started writing together in lieu of therapy. This song was actually pretty laborious for us to write because we hadn’t played music together in a few years (we were previously in a different band) and we definitely struggled to piece this together. Despite our initial struggle to co-produce, this song actually spring-boarded us to write the album and ultimately form a band, and is definitely one of our favorites to play live! We’re super excited to let the world hear it and are even more excited that it’s delivered with a music video produced by some of our best friends! We hope this message resonates with people and are stoked to share it with TDL!”
