Happy Winter! I must admit that I haven’t really been in the holiday spirit this season. I’m starting to realize that I’m probably going to regret that but there’s no denying the magic of Christmas whenever you hear that holiday music blasting in a store – despite how much it may make you want to curl up in a ball in the corner and bawl your eyes out. Though my spirits are low this holiday season – maybe it was the tumultuous year I’ve had or simply because the weather hasn’t felt very Christmasy – I can’t help but get all nostalgic over how awesome Christmas was when I was a kid. These tracks are comprised of the best of the best – from the classics to modern-era pop. Most of my favorites that are classics come from the Home Alone 2: Lost In New York soundtrack, as that has always been my favorite Christmas movie since I was a kid. Oh and how perfect is Carly Rae Jepsen’s cover of “Last Christmas?!” The girl knows how to liven up just about anything!
Enjoy and let us be the first to wish you a very Merry Christmas!
