The talent supported by the guys at 8123 will never cease to amaze me, and I promise they’ll never disappoint. The Bambinos is a music project by Austin Gibbs and Brennan Smiley, lead singer of The Technicolors.
They both met back in 2012 at a gig and in that right moment they knew there was a musical spark. It wasn’t until later when they did a little catch up in their lives, deciding they should write a couple tunes together. All the recording magic happened last year in a studio somewhere in Nashville.
Last Friday, these five tracks they got to work on were able to, finally, see the light. The Bambinos, released their self-titled EP and I have no other word to describe than to say it is beautiful. The alternative-acoustic vibe is unexplainable and it really fits the summer vibes pretty well. Needless to say that Brennan’s wonderful vocals blends so very well with Austin’s amazing voice.
An excellent combination of talent is well packed on a 5 track EP. Listen here, hopefully you’ll be just as amazed as I was when I first listened to it. The Bambinos EP is also available on iTunes.
