Minneapolis indie-pop artist, Nina Luna, is dazzling as her music is infectious. Her new single, “Anything But Love,” is the perfect summer post-quarantine gem of a track reminiscent of Maggie Rogers and Taylor Swift as they both emerge from the folklorian woods.
Luna has quite the interesting backstory. After finding herself suffering from burnout, she left NYC after a decade to move back to her hometown of Minneapolis to regroup. There, Luna found healing and is excited to emerge stronger and more reflective on her new journey… and the proof is in the music. With three new singles set to be released this summer – “Anything But Love” being the first – Luna proves to be an artist to buzz about in times where we are all doing a lot of self-reflecting and inner healing.
“‘Anything But Love’ is more heavily pop and upbeat than a lot of the music I’ve released recently but when I wrote it this past spring of 2021, it felt very sincere and honest. When I brought it to my producer, we decided to embrace the catchy pop vibe and just go with it and it became this track that to me feels like a perfect post-quarantine, feel-good, summer jam. I think the message that there’s so much value in being open and vulnerable is one the world could use right now.”
