Alternative/dream-pop act, MONACO, had us obsessed immediately with their debut single, “Such A Vibe.” Comprised of Daniel Davis, AJ Curtin, and Jared Maddox, MONACO specialize in upbeat, glittering synths reminiscent of St. Lucia, Cherry Pools, COIN, and The 1975 so you know these guys are the real deal!
Inspired by the story of how Davis met his wife – from living practically three miles apart on the East Coast, only to meet for the very first time after moving to California – “Such A Vibe” is adequately titled, giving listeners major indie vibes as the track authentically captures the essence of falling in love for the first time; or as the band describes it as “an exuberant take on the concept of serendipity.”
As if the thought of falling in love with a brand new band wasn’t exciting enough, the band is planning to release more new music in early 2019 so keep these guys on your radar!
