Javi Jimenez returns with new single, “Flowers,” and it’s a definite tearjerker!
Chock full of that good ol’ emotional turmoil that comes with breaking up, “Flowers” takes on a different sonic approach than his signature musical style, transporting listeners into a coming-of-age movie about living through a broken heart while still in being love with someone. This one takes the art of goodbyes to a whole other level, later leading the listener to peace and acceptance. Teased acoustically on the singer’s YouTube channel back in 2021, the full studio version of “Flowers” is a Coldplay-esque killer that should come with a box of tissues!
“We can learn a lot about heartbreak in our 20’s, but nothing prepares you for living through a breakup in which you both still love each other, yet make the hard decision to say goodbye,” shared Jimenez. “It’s a different type of pain because it doesn’t feel ‘out of your control’… So you’re not angry or devastated or surprised. Saying goodbye and honestly wishing them the best might just be the hardest heartbreak you will face.”
