Infectious as it is relatable, “safe” channels influences like Nightly and joan while giving off a Javi Jimenez vibe, which makes us think these two would be perfect collab partners! “[‘safe’] is about the anxiety and fear of telling someone how you really feel,” shared Buckley. “There’s a comfort in keeping those feelings safe, but it’s a double-edged sword. My goal with this song was to capture that internal struggle in a way that’s both relatable and uplifting.”
