Calgary post-punk trio, Ultrviolence, are probably the most intriguing thing you will hear all week. They are currently gearing up for the release of their new EP, Black Sea, on May 13 and with the release of new track, “Radiation,” listeners are in for a treat. Formed over a decade ago, these guys are the real deal as they build their sound purely on DIY principles with little reliance on external influences. Created in “prairie solitude” and “hunched over their instruments,” one can’t help but want to be all about that life, too. Who are we kidding? We already are.
