Arizona emo group killing it as per usual!
Following an amazing take on some of the biggest 90’s hits on Side A of the Covers series (still crying over that Backstreet Boys track), a band called The Maine are back at it again with Side B. They’ve turned some of the recent Top 40 hits into actual enjoyable works of art this time around. The original artists better go into hiding because these guys totally owned the tracks!
I am really not a fan of what Rihanna is doing lately but “Bitch Better Have My Money” turned out to be one awesome cover with lots of guitars and emoness (that’s a word now) that musically reflects of the group’s early years – listen for yourself if you don’t believe it. There is also Shania Twain’s “You’re Still The One” which I literally had to look up what it was because I couldn’t recognize it – that’s how you turn a melancholic pop song even sadder.

The band will be having the #SummerofBlue out on Warped Tour in the US all summer long, so make sure to join them for a chance to hear these songs among others when they hit your town! We wish we were there too…
