If there’s anything we love more here at The Daily Listening it’s synthpop – throw in a little sax and we’re sold! The new track from The Lagoons evokes a sense of 90’s nostalgia with some modern-day M83 thrown in there for good measure but with a more chilled out vibe…so indie-jazz might be a new thing now? We’ll take it!
The Lagoons are brothers Joey Selan and Ryan Selan, originally from Los Angeles but now based in Texas. “California” brings the duo back to their roots and will be featured on the band’s third studio EP, Gems, out soon.
