First time I heard about Telepathic Teddy Bear was back in 2014 and even then I knew I wouldn’t want to miss his powerful yet sentimental electro-pop tracks and to this day, the Monterrey, MX based artist hasn’t failed to put out there some brilliant tunes.
“Outdone” is his latest release and sure is one you won’t be able to stop listening to for a while. What makes this song madly great to me is the combination of lyrics and sounds – specifically that solo part around the 3-minute mark that marks quite a variance of sound compared to the rest of the beats. While the lyrics speak mostly about personal struggles that we all can relate to in some way, they’re better summed up in this line: “All I ever wanted was to not be outdone.”
