Ireland-based indie-pop trio, Tanjier, are ready to swoop you off your feet with their dreamy new track, “Days.” Reminiscent of LANY, “Days” dives into the pains of being in a long distance relationship, chronicling the ups and downs of the emotional roller coaster that comes with saying hello and goodbye all so soon.
Comprised of Ronan Lynch, Tommy Buckley, and Mick Killen, Tanjier are set to be your newest obsession. Inspired by Coldplay, LANY, The 1975, and LCD Soundsystem, new track “Days” is without a doubt a definite addition to all of your summer playlists.
“As I’m currently in a long-distance relationship, it’s hard sometimes not to write songs about that. This song explores how great it is to spend time with your partner when you’ve been apart for months, but, on the flip-side, how awful the goodbye moments are. It’s probably the loneliest I’ve ever felt in my life – the first couple of hours after the first goodbye,” shared Tommy.
