Sometimes, exceptional artists cover exceptional tracks and we wind up falling more in love with the cover than the original – this is one of those instances. San Diego’s Solomon Ray‘s cover of Beck’s 2002 track, “Guess I’m Doing Fine,” is equally gorgeous as it is hypnotizing. Mixing electronic, pop and a bit of hip hop, Ray manages to turn the once melancholy hit into a modern anthem for the worn out.
