Kansas City alt-pop artist, pure xtc, has returned with yet another spellbinding track to add to her killer resume.
“Mood Ring” is a buzzy anthem reminiscent of the likes of PVRIS meets MUNA and will be accompanied by a short film that continues the storyline from previous release, “Fall Apart,” on August 2 in collaboration with Montucky Cold Snacks.
“Writing ‘Mood Ring’ was so fun. I’ll never forget the moment I discovered the missing piece—those humming samples that set the tone from :01. I practically fell out of my chair and bolted from the studio into the living room, waking my wife in the process (she’s a real fan of my midnight breakthroughs lol). That rush of excitement told me I had something truly special in my hands.”
