pure xtc – the project from EXNATIONS drummer, Taylor Hughes – first dazzled us with her chilling debut track, “Ghost,” this past summer. Now the singer is taking on another demon in the form of new track, “Bad Dreams.”
Bad dreams come in many shapes and forms, and are usually the result of painful life experiences. Hughes wants to be a hand to hold when the images come flashing back to life; when you’re at a point where you’re not devastated anymore…just angry. The deception, the gaslighting, the guilt – “Bad Dreams” is anthem for anyone who needs to exorcise those demons and bury them for good!
Recorded at the singer’s home studio and produced, mixed/mastered with the help of Walter Kazmier at Silk City Grooves & Mike Piacentini of Sony Entertainment’s Battery Studios, “Bad Dreams” – along with “Ghost” – is going to be the track to have on all of those upcoming Halloween playlists!
