American Idol alum, and winner of its 11th season, Phillip Phillips captured our hearts when his audition aired back in 2012, and now after three years since the release of his last album, the singer has come back stronger than ever with new material.
Phillips’ new single “Miles” feels like a fresh start since the singer settled a lawsuit to get off of his former contract – something we’ve been hearing an awful lot from numerous artists. The song is about going through changes and overcoming the rough times while serving as a reminder that it’ll always be brighter after the dark.
We can also expect a new album release soon since the singer shared that it is basically done; this new record will be like a mix of different genres but what will remain is Phillips’ signature sound.
