Every once and a while, a special song comes along that captures ones current situation or emotions perfectly, almost as if the track was written specifically for that fan. But, for a handful of British artist Nine Nesbitt’s, fans, this is actually true. Back in May, Nesbitt took on the challenge of turning a few of her fans life stories into songs. Nesbitt not only proved her mastery in the first two tracks of the five song EP, Brisbane and Ontario, but continues to further please fans with the most recent release, “Los Angeles.”
“Los Angeles” opens with Nesbitt’s hushed, fast paced vocals, overlaying an echoed instrumentation, perfectly representing the inner struggle the song portrays. That inner struggle being the conflict that comes along in moving forward towards contentment in a once broken relationship by accepting an others unchangeable past.
Not only am I anxious to see the rainbow of song covers coming together to create a completed EP, but to continue hearing fans life stories being put to music so eloquently by Nesbitt. If you want Nina to potentially transform your story into a song, direct message her the details (scenery, feelings, descriptions, scents, tastes, etc.) on her Instagram or Twitter.
