If you’ve been dying for some new Me Not You tracks, you’re in luck! The duo are getting ready to release their debut LP, Already Gone, in June and new singles “I Don’t Blame You” and “Not Fine” pack a punch in just under 7 minutes.
With a mix of dark and light undertones, “I Don’t Blame You” and “Not Fine” dive into the realities of life and death while still maintaining the band’s signature 90’s alternative vibe that we adore them for.
“This past summer, I spent a few months upstate with my grandmother, who was sick and living her last days. It was beautiful and sad to spend those last months with her. During the same time, I found out I was pregnant. the writing of these songs began to channel this feeling of life cycling and rebirth that I was experiencing, and the sadness and joy that were confronting me at the same time,” shared singer Nikki Taylor.
