[LISTEN] Magic Wands – “Armour”

Los Angeles duo, Magic Wands – comprised of Chris and Dexy Valentine – have been defying genre norms since 2008. Blending elements of dream-pop with gothic post-punk for an otherworldly listening experience, there’s nothing these two can’t tackle musically.

New track, “Armour,” explores the duality between craving connection and the need for self-protection.

“‘Armour’ came about spontaneously as all our songs do. It’s a reflection on the human paradox, a need for protection and an equally strong desire for connection and freedom. The song explores the two forces and looks to find a balance between shielding oneself and embracing vulnerability.”

The band are writing songs for their next record due out in the spring of 2025.
