Colombian-born indie singer Andrea Silva – also known as her moniker of Loyal Lobos – moved to Los Angeles four years ago for a change. Coming from a culture of over-sexualization of women, Silva embraces her body as it is without the need to sexualize it but also without guilt for being who she is; a true misogyny warrior, especially in the music industry where the lines tend to be blurred.
In new track, “The Fall,” listeners are transported back to a 90’s folk/pop oasis when Jewel, Sheryl Crow and Paula Cole ruled their airwaves while still maintaining a modern edge reminiscent of Hearts and Michelle Branch.
