Psych-pop songwriter/producer, Lemonade Shoelace – the moniker of Belfast’s Ruairí Richman – has dazzled us once again with new track, “THINK!”
Following previous single, “Soul Syndrome,” “THINK!” delves into falling head over heels for someone that the action of love is something you don’t even think twice about.
Set to a trippy soundtrack of psychedelic influences, “THINK!” is the second single off of Lemonade Shoelace’s forthcoming new EP due out this summer.
“This song is purely about falling head over heels to someone, and dedicating your life from the point you met them onwards to doing all you can for them. You don’t need to ‘THINK’ about actions birthed from feelings like this, and if your whole world is taken over by love, then surely that isn’t a bad thing? I wrote this song based on personal experiences; it represents the blossom and expression of love, and feeling so good that you have to start questioning its validity in the end. Is this your world? Or are you creating a new one with your lover?”
