Dallas-born, NYC-dwelling alt-pop singer/songwriter, Juliana Madrid, has been dazzling us since day one with her 2022 debut single, “Madonna” – and it keeps getting better!
Today marks the release of the singer’s new single, “Just Enough,” and needless to say…this girl is on a winning streak. Produced with frequent collab partner, Ben Ruttner of The Knocks, “Just Enough” delves into that gut feeling that you’re not with the right person as wandering eyes start to come into play. Did we mention the killer sax solo that morphs us back into the 80’s?
The track is set to be featured on Madrid’s next EP via Neon Gold Records. You can catch Jules live supporting Alice Merton nationwide and Passion Pit in New York this month!
“‘Just Enough’ is about that wall you hit in a relationship. You’re doing everything right and so are they, but something still feels off. You start wondering if they are really your person and have wandering eyes, but never do anything about it. You feel guilty for being bored. You’re doing the bare minimum in this love now, just enough to keep them from leaving.”
