JOSEPHINE is back with another lighthearted single, “Friends,” released on Friday.
Narrating an all too familiar experience, we hear what it’s like to finally become more than friends with someone unexpected. She guides us gently with lyrics and we travel though a blatant denial of love, until that love is all encompassing and demanding to be felt.
She uses a catchy but comfortable mixture of R&B and pop to embody the fearlessness and warmth of throwing yourself into a new relationship – fearing the outcome, but unquestionably allowing yourself to go along for the ride.
