Boone, NC’s Galloway, combine alternative, rock, pop and indie influences to form their own signature sound. Exploring themes of existentialism, love, mental health and queerness, the band strives to be a welcoming atmosphere within the industry and at live shows.
New track, “Bummer,” dives into that all-too-familiar feeling of catching feelings for someone in a casual relationship set to a glorious alt-pop soundtrack reminiscent of The Maine meets The Ivy.
“‘Bummer’ is about the struggle of developing feelings in a ‘friends with benefits’ situation where you are ultimately left feeling empty, struck with the realization that the other person doesn’t see you as anything more than a means of filling space and killing time.”
