Bay Area songwriter and producer, Frank Ivy, has just unleashed a monster of an indie-pop jam that needs to be added to those weekend playlists ASAP!
New track, “New State of Mind,” is the first installment in an upcoming 3-single pack, due out March 24. Diving into the excitement that often comes from moving on from past hurt, the track takes on an up-tempo vibe matching one’s newfound sense of freedom all while thinking about the deeper stuff that often comes with healing and positive energy.
“It’s a hopeful and exciting up-tempo record about moving on from the past, and not letting anything hold you back,” says Frank. “We zoom out and start thinking about fate, purpose and the perception of time.”
