Wrapping up a trilogy of epic indie-pop gems exploring the universal tension of unspoken feelings, Ireland’s Four Nights has returned with new track, “Do You Feel The Same Way?”
Drawing inspiration from indie-pop royalty such as flor, joan and The Aces, “Do You Feel The Same Way?” is the honest culmination of the trilogy, asking that one question we’re all terrified to ask.
“This song feels like the final chapter in a trilogy. It’s about finally asking the question that’s been haunting the protagonist – ‘Do you feel the same way?’ – after going through hesitation, doubt, and missed chances. I wanted the chorus to be direct and singable, something that just hits hard every time. In the end, the simplest version (of which I had many) worked best.”
