Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the last couple of days, you were aware that the L.A-based band, Foster The People were super active (and so much for teasing!) on their social media. It all started with a roman numerals kind of countdown, and then it stopped at number three.
Last time we heard new music from the band was back in 2014 with the release of their sophomore album Supermodel, so it’s been quite a long time since we heard anything new from them.
“Pay The Man,” “Doing It For The Money” and “S.H.C” are the band’s three new singles, encapsulated on the EP titled III and all of them apparently being extracted from the band’s third new and upcoming record which is due out some time over the summer.
The band described the songs as ones “to reflect joy in a time where people have needed it more than ever and we thought it was a good time to share them with you.” And well, it was perfect timing indeed.
Needless to say, the sound on these tracks sure got us super hyped on their next album, but we can always hit repeat endless times on these, right?
