Irish electro-pop artist, Fí, needs to be on your radar this fall! The singer just released her debut single, “Éalú,” today – a track the singer penned after being on a bus heading home from Dublin. Translated as “escape” in English, ‘Éalú’ is an Irish term which inspired the track after seeing the sign, ‘éalú’ for the emergency exit.
“I wrote the song about feelings of disillusionment with my personal situation and relationship at that time,” the singer shared. “Despite finding comfort in being with someone, sometimes you need to let go of something which is in hindsight going nowhere and doing more destruction than good in your life, the ‘sharing one side of the coin.'”
