Emerging pop singer/songwriter, DYLYN, is the new project from Gwendolyn Lewis you’ll all be buzzing about later. After realizing she refused to be just another pop puppet, the singer got to work with LA producer Colin Munroe, churning out some of the best 80’s-inspired rock & roll with a dark edge that we’ve heard in a while.
New track, “Secret,” is a relatable tale of a broken home due to infidelity.
“This one is personal. My life was turned upside down and as a result this song emerged. “Secret” became therapeutic, it helped me deal with this crazy thing that happens to so many people, yet often remains a taboo subject; especially in song,” stated DYLYN. “Secret” gave me a chance to connect with people, with my fans whose parents also split up due to infidelity; it became a way of reaffirming for myself and others “You are not the only one going through this.” Like I said, this one is personal.”
