Michigan-based artist/producer, Brandon Sozo, has been through quite the musical evolution and is now ready to bring his journey to the next level.
New track, “You and I,” blends all things indie-pop with a sweet, no frills underlying message of being content in one’s company. Fans of dreamfone, Nightly and Honestly will fall in love with Sozo’s dreamy, indie-pop perfection – perfect for a cozy night in with that special someone.
“After producing the track, I kept hearing ‘summer nights,’ but I didn’t want to write the typical lyrics you’d expect from that phrase,” shared Sozo. “Instead, I had the idea to write the opposite of what people might anticipate: ‘It’s just you and I, lonely on a summer night.’ That came naturally for me because most nights, my wife and I would rather be at home watching Netflix, being ‘lonely’ together. I think a lot of people will relate to this track.”
