Emerging alt/pop artist, Bo Baskoro, feels like one of those hidden gems who is about to take the world by storm. The prolific artist, actor and mental health advocate has released his new track, “Holding You Over,” today and we’re pretty sure this one is going to resonate deeply!
The poignant, emotionally-charged track delves into the pains of unrequited love and the turmoil one goes through knowing they’re only a placeholder for someone they have fallen for. The track is Bo’s first release of 2023 with more to come throughout the year.
Throughout Bo’s career, Tourette’s syndrome has played a large role in his personal and artistic journey, making him an advocate for mental health awareness with a powerful story to share.
“I’ve worked so hard to free myself from the world where the topic of mental health was taboo and finally explore my symptoms and navigate through them with a professional,” he shares. “There’s a power in knowing the diagnosis of all of the quirks that made me feel like I was a broken burden to the people around me, and finally hearing that these symptoms fell into the diagnosis of Tourette’s, general anxiety, OCD and depression helped me finally feel like I could take control of what was happening to me and finally learn how to manage it.”
