We first introduced you to the sounds of Riverside, CA alt-pop band, Arrlo, earlier this year as one of our Daily Discovery artists, and as we hoped, this next release is equally as addicting as their previous tracks “WFTWTE” and “LSD.”
New track, “Blood Art,” dives right in to the topic of toxic and abusive relationships. If you’ve ever been in one, then you know the struggle between wanting to fix the other person while wanting to leave and never return for your own mental health.
“People glorify and cling to severely sub-par relationships for the sake of delaying loneliness. Some people can’t be saved, so it’s best to walk away while you can,” shared the band.
“Blood Art” allows the listener to really examine their relationships, forcing them to look inward and decide if being with that person is really worth the pain. It also helps that the track has an incredibly catchy and unforgettable hook to latch on to.
