Ever since Alessia Cara burst onto the scene with her introvert/anti-party anthem, “Here,” in 2015, we have been living for her every move. After all, she’s our people and she just gets it. You gotta love artists like that!
It looks like she’s done it again with new track, “Growing Pains,” off of her upcoming sophomore album, The Pains of Growing, due out soon.
Crafted in true Alessia fashion, “Growing Pains” is a scary yet accurate depiction of the moment childhood officially leaves and you’re left to pick up the pieces of things you never quite knew how to handle in the first place while figuring out how to maintain that youthful innocence as adulthood basically screws you left and right. How does she always manage to find the right words?!
